Hi. I'm Stefani.
(that always makes me want to add something like, "and I'm an alcoholic." But I'm not. So I won't.)
I'm a thirty-something wife, mother, and teacher.
My husband and I met at Washington State University in 2001 and were married in 2004. I'd love to say we met in a quiet cafe or in a study group, but honestly, we were introduced when we were just a tad drunk at a party, =] per Wazzu tradition. Thankfully, things got better from there... He is my best friend, my soul mate, and my partner in crime. I can't imagine where I would be without him and I have no idea how he finds a way to put up with all my shenanigans. The man should be nominated for sainthood.
We struggled for years to get pregnant and thought we would never have a baby of our own. Much to our surprise, we found out we were expecting in January of 2009. Our daughter, Addison, was born two weeks early on September 14, 2009. We are so blessed to have such a beautiful, silly, lovable little girl to call our own. Since having one was so much fun, we decided to add to the family and on April 25, 2012 we welcomed our son, Cohen, into our little family. I may be impartial, but we have two of the cutest, sweetest kids on the planet. I'm one lucky mama.
I teach middle school Language Arts in a rural town in Eastern Washington... Most of the time I love my job, but there are days when I want to bang my head on the desk.
I started this blog as a way to keep friends and family updated on our lives, pregnancy, and now about Addison and Cohen. I may be an English teacher, but I love run-on sentences, using ... way to frequently, and creating my own words.
I love to ride horses, cook, garden (although I suck at it), camp, boat, and travel. I despise cleaning toilets and folding laundry and I never, ever, ever make my bed.
Enjoy and comments are always welcome.
